Welcome to my web log. I’ve been in the computer industry for over ten years so I thought it’s about time to get in on the action and start posting stuff online.

I enjoy writing, but unfortunately my job as a software developer demands that everything I write be either code or technical specifications.  While building software is fun, I’d like to start writing some things that don’t start with public static void and end with a }.

I’d like to give big props to the writer of this tutorial that shows you step by step how to create a theme for WordPress, the blogging software I’m using.  

I see a lot of tutorials online and very few are done as well as this one.  I was able to create a new theme to match my site in about an hour and at no point was I left scratching my head wondering what exactly I should do or why I was supposed to do it.  If I could find some tutorials on Photoshop that were done just as well I’d be a happy camper.
